The Sweet Chocolate Fudge
This piquant recipe can be used for just about any occasion. It’s perfect for birthday parties, school events, potlucks, and even for stuffing your face on the couch while watching your favorite show. The way the atoms and molecules mix together creates a rich texture that melts in your mouth. As you melt the chocolate, it causes a physical reaction. Although the chocolate is melted, the molecules are unchanged. Or when you melt the butter, whether it’s in the microwave, or on the stove, again, a liquid is created, this time thin, but still rich. When you begin to bake the fudge, it’ll start to harden. This happens because the air is heating up inside the pan, causing the pressure to rise. When you break the chocolate, the molecules stay exactly the same, there are just smaller pieces.

Chemical reactions occur when you mix the ingredients. The molecules within each ingredient come together, creating a different substance, depending on what the ingredients are. As the ingredients come together, it forms a covalent bond between the different electrons. It is not necessarily a different form of matter, however some molecules may be different. When the dessert is finally finished, there is a conservation of mass.
